Couldnt tell me my wifes #!

The first # I tried was an 888, and it came back unavailable. As a test, I tried my wifes #. It also
Came back unavailable. I noticed it listed our old carrier, which we transferred from...8 years ago when we joined our daughters account.
Which leads to another issue. I input my #, and it came up in my daughters name because it is her account.
I input 4 #s, and 3 of them failed.
